Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Converge worked with the family members of Herman J. Russell in Atlanta to write federal grants leading to more than $3 million for the development of the Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The Russell Center is a Westside Atlanta entrepreneurship incubator focused on supporting entrepreneurs of color. It honors the legacy of the late Herman J. Russell, who built the largest Black-owned real estate and construction company in the United States and was a key supporter for advancing civil rights in the Atlanta area.
