Converge assisted the Board of Directors and staff of the Broadmoor Improvement Association, one of New Orleans’ most unique and diverse neighborhood associations, in developing a plan for the organization’s financial sustainability and growth that includes a unique mix of public funding, philanthropic support, individual giving and earned income.
New Orleans Works Collaborative
Converge assisted the New Orleans Works Collaborative, a collaborative of public, private and philanthropic organizations, in creating a three-year plan to establish New Orleans Works as the leader in customized employer-driven training that prepares low-income and low- and middle-skilled individuals for employment and advancement in high-growth, high-wage industry sectors in New Orleans.
Orleans Public Education Network
In 2012, Converge consultants worked with the Executive Director of the Orleans Public Education Network (OPEN) to conduct a thorough analysis of the organization’s financial health in relationship to its rapidly changing landscape and develop a set of strategies to increase the organization’s financial stability. As a result, OPEN expanded its individual giving program, diversified its philanthropic funding, expanded its programming, launched an annual event, and created several new sources of earned revenue.
