Marketing Manager

Position Title: Marketing Manager

TEMP-TO-PERM (30 hours per week) 

Company Overview: Founded by Takema M. Robinson, in 2016, Converge is a Black woman owned social justice consulting firm whose purpose is to accelerate the creation of a radically just new world, where communities of color thrive. Converge is owned by its parent company Elysian Enterprises.

Position Overview:  The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing team and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). The central purpose of this team member is to amplify the voice and mission of Converge in order to expand our market reach to organizations who will benefit most from our services while leading the team in pivoting between ideation and execution. 

Responsibilities

  • Survey and examine current digital assets to decide what content can be leveraged for future campaigns and what content may be needed to execute successful future campaigns
  • Create and manage content marketing calendar ensuring visibility to the team at large and ensure diversified content is produced amplifying the voice of Converge and our client partners
  • Develop organic social media content and owned media content driving brand awareness and business development for all service and business lines  
  • Produce paid content via Google network, content syndication, paid search, paid social media, etc.
  • Engage social media audience on various platforms with comments, likes, shares, and strategies to increase engagement and followership
  • Monitor, track and report weekly data analytics to inform and influence leadership decisions
  • Operationalize organizational strategy using paid media campaigns to support go-to-market approach for the business
  • Assist in the design of quarterly media campaigns and own campaign implementation and management including setting up pixels, managing paid campaigns in the native channels
  • Manage marketing systems and automations to support digital campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of marketing experience
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns involving a variety of media channels
  • Adept at paid and organic marketing strategies, data analytics, and content development
  • Ability to capture the voice of Black communities and other communities of color that are often historically marginalized in social media and owned media content
  • Google display network experience
  • Social media management
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Superior planning and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail

Bonus points if you have

  • Graphic design experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite
  • HubSpot marketing or sales certification
  • Experience using Databox
  • Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certification
  • Experience using CRM solutions such as like Pipedrive, Salesforce, Active Campaign, and Zoho
  • Proficiency in the use of Monday.com, Canva, and Hootsuite

Salary: $50,000
