As the demand for equity within organizations increases, we devised a unique solution to equip organizations and their external advisors with a system to implement equitable practices and policies in their work.

At Converge College, we are pleased to introduce a coaching certification to allow experienced non profit professionals and consultants to add to their existing skillsbase. The Coaching Certification program is a three-week certification that focuses on coaching leaders toward equity change, organizational management, and community engagement.

Under the Racial and Intersectional Equity (R.I.S.E.©) track, upon successful completion of certification program, leaders will:

  • Advance your knowledge of equity gaps that exist in the non-profit ecosystem
  • Expand your ability to coach organizational leadership towards operationalizing and actualizing equity work.
  • Enhance your facilitation skills to support decision-making and change management that guides leaders towards results.
  • Obtain a one year license to coach leaders utilizing the R.I.S.E.© coaching model.

Under the Power in Place© track, after weeks of modular courses and live trainings, consultants and leaders will be able to:

  • Deepen knowledge about power and best practices of power-sharing with community residents among the key stakeholders
  • Learn to identify inequitable policies and practices and utilize community-centered approaches to mitigate adverse effects of change on current residents
  • Gain skills to facilitate collaborative capacities across all stakeholders based on a strong foundation of deepening power-sharing practices
  • Lead in work of building organizational capacity to connect with and be accountable to community constituencies
