Chenier Taylor is a local entrepreneur and marketing and events specialist. The New Orleans native returned home in 2015 to establish Flamingo Park Productions, LLC, a communications and events firm. Prior to this, Chenier worked in the Communications and Marketing disciplines in both New York and Atlanta. While in New York, Chenier worked on various Public Relations and Social Media campaigns, events and brand launches for national and global clients.
Her work spanned industries including personal care, health, travel, retail, consumer packaged goods, and corporate. Prior to her time in New York, Chenier had the opportunity to work in Publishing and local Public Safety. Since returning to New Orleans, Chenier has collaborated with various local businesses in the city through marketing and communications efforts to raise awareness of their programs on a local and national stage. She currently works with a number of local organizations, assisting their Communications teams by developing social media campaigns, branding plans, and media relations.
Through Flamingo Park Productions, Chenier and her colleagues also help to showcase the rich and varied cultural aspects of New Orleans by creating individually tailored events. Chenier’s work demonstrates that New Orleans is truly a unique city and she has stated that, “it is an honor to help shine a light on the celebrated and lesser-known aspects of its people and history through my work.” Flamingo Park Productions produces creates memorable occasions for all types of clients from nonprofit organizations, to happily engaged couples and corporate clients.
In addition to her business endeavors, Chenier is currently the chair of the Emory University Alumni New Orleans Chapter and is helping to foster and grow a community for this group through various volunteer and social activities.
Chenier continues her commitment to New Orleans and its citizens through her work and her devoted participation in civic and cultural organizations. She currently serves as a member of the City Park Improvement Association Board.
