Hilary Roach

Hilary serves as a Senior Consultant for Converge, focusing on complex initiative management, racial & intersectionality equity, event curation and design and strategic planning. Throughout the engagement she leads, Hilary ensures the voices of directly impacted stakeholders are heard and constantly centered as those closest to the issues we seek to solve must have the agency to develop the solutions.

Currently, Hilary organizes and executes the Greater New Orleans Funders Network Quarterly Convenings and provides administrative support to the network overall. Hilary oversees Converge’s portfolio with Blue Meridian Partners focused on building power at the community level. She also manages Converge’s democracy portfolio including work with the American Civil Liberties Union’s Southern Collective and the Arthur M Blank Family Foundation’s Democracy Learning Cohort. Hilary recently led the development of an exciting three-year strategic plan for the Trauma-Informed Schools Learning Collaborative based in New Orleans.

Hilary received a B.S. in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University, and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh. She’s a yogi, passport stamp collector, and soca warrior.
