Kenneth Morgan, Jr. has over ten years of management experience in the public and private sectors, including leadership roles in local government and national agencies. He is skilled in municipal government policy and administration, organizational strategy, event production and management, and program implementation.
As Chief of Staff, Kenneth provides oversight and guidance for all Converge projects and initiatives including the TRUE Northwest Arkansas, a three-year Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative for community organizations in Northwest Arkansas, and the Greater New Orleans Funders Network. Kenneth also provides guidance for Converges’ Operations & Human Resources, Information Technology & Innovation, Legal, Business Development, and External Affairs & Communications offices.
Prior to joining Converge, Kenneth served as Director of the Mayor’s Office for the City of New Orleans. He guided efforts to streamline processes and systems within city agencies, resulting in faster and more reliable customer service for New Orleans residents and businesses. Kenneth also served as the Mayor’s liaison and Senior Project Manager to the New Orleans Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday Planning Commission, and hosted the inaugural City of New Orleans Tricentennial Community Block Party in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. on the historic Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Before leading the Mayor’s Office, Kenneth served alongside the Executive Director of the Network for Economic Opportunity. There his work focused on improving the outcomes and opportunities for underserved communities, in the areas of workforce, housing, and economic development. Kenneth currently serves on the Board of Directors for the French Quarter Festivals Inc.
