Nia Davis brings over 20 years of non-profit consulting and academic faculty experience to her role as Dean of Converge College. Born and raised in New Orleans, Nia has served nine colleges and universities and received numerous awards for research and service. At Converge, Nia oversees the development and implementation of education and training strategies to educate, equip and empower leaders to become equity and social justice-centered in their work.

Nia received her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, a master’s degree from the University of New Orleans and is currently completing a doctorate degree in executive leadership at the University of Holy Cross.

In her free time, Nia can be found being of service to her beloved New Orleans community through board leadership and as a systems disruptor for affordable housing and black business growth through speaking engagements and various written and digital formats.
