Telesa serves as the Principal Consultant for Converge, focusing on client engagement, service delivery, team oversight, and business operations. Telesa is a proven and creative executive who is results-oriented, executes against multiple timelines while remaining client-focused to lead solution-driven initiatives and outlining strategic processes that add value and are aligned against mutual priorities.
Currently, Telesa works with the team across projects focused on our service delivery areas of Racial & Intersectional Equity, Strategic Planning, Board Development, Convening Development, Custom Initiatives, Coalition Management, and Landscape Scan Research to diagnose and frame client challenges and opportunities in a broad range of content areas (e.g., criminal justice, education, workforce development, health equity.) Telesa advances our work with clients as a trusted advisor stewarding them through a set of complex recommendations.
Telesa received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Wilberforce University and a Master of Science Degree in Urban Policy Studies with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University. Telesa holds certifications in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from Diversity Crew, Fundraising from Center for Nonprofit Management, Volunteer Manager from Leadership 101, LLC and a host of other training certifications in HR Business Partner, Learning & Development, Systems Thinking, etc. from LinkedIn.
Telesa is a native of Chicago, IL, and has been a Texas resident since 2009 with her husband and two children. She enjoys chocolate, cooking, beach vacations, volleyball and bowling.
