Verna L. Hamilton

Verna L. Hamilton is a Senior Consultant at Converge. She brings more than 20 years’ business strategy experience in workforce development, academia, nonprofit management and automotive industry sectors. At Converge, Verna is responsible for the successful execution of service delivery from initiation through conclusion and for the innovative implementation of ideas which transform communities.

Verna leads the Release the Pressure project for Converge. She manages the ongoing RTP coalition partnership of the American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American Medical Association Foundation, Association of Black Cardiologists, Minority Health Institute, and the National Medical Association.
Born in Philadelphia, Verna has a profound respect for people, history, and culture. She is an alumna of Florida A&M University (FAMU)’s School of Business & Industry and earned her Master of Marketing Research at The University of Georgia’s Coca-Cola Center for Marketing Studies.

In her free time, Verna can be found dancing, studying languages (French, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese and Swahili), collecting passport stamps, and being the unapologetic tea aficionado she is.
