    American Medical Association-Center for Health Equity

The Center for Health Equity at the American Medical Association (AMA CHE), through research and interviews with funders, developers and customers, discovered frustrating realities of inequity in the public health sector. These challenges include underused resources for innovation, prevalent white male leadership, politicization, and lack of efforts to create change. Before, the AMA has worked with Converge on other equity-driven projects such as our Release the Pressure Campaign. This time they wanted to partner with Converge again to deliver healthy equity innovation among its key stakeholders.

Converge supported AMA CHE in the areas of external collaboration and partnership strategy and implementation, external advisory group facilitation, and general project management. More specifically, we provided administrative support keeps the Core Team on track with timelines and meeting schedule. Externally with the advisory group, we tracked evaluation metrics alongside programmatic metrics and have them present in meetings.
