Kalea serves in the role of Senior Consultant at Converge, where she approaches every project strategically, through a lens of racial and intersectional equity. Kalea comes to Converge with a background in academia having spent time in both public and independent education. With over a decade of professional experience, Kalea’s expertise spans intricate project oversight, strategic planning, board development, board training, and event design. She prides herself on having dynamic facilitation skills and her ability to connect with a diverse range of constituents. Kalea seeks to transform organizations and communities by challenging systems of oppression while centering the voices of marginalized individuals.

Kalea is a native of Washington D.C.. She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the illustrious Howard University and earned a Masters in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking with friends, and attending plays and concerts.
