Hilary Roach

Project Manager

Hilary’s work at Converge focuses on philanthropic convenings, event curation, and strategic planning. Hilary began working for the Verbena Group in October of 2015, supporting Hamilton with the management of the New Orleans Children and Youth Planning Board and the New Orleans Youth Program Quality Initiative pilot. Previously, Hilary interned for the Coalition for the Protection of Children and was responsible for the day-to-day organization of clients, financial obligations for the Coalition, and represented the Coalition at multiple tables. Born and raised in Bermuda, Hilary also spent eighteen months enhancing the performance and viability of her family’s restaurant company, Bermuda Restaurants Company.

Here at Converge, Hilary organizes and executes the Greater New Orleans Funders Network Quarterly Convenings and provides administrative support to the network overall as well as the Coastal Communities and Opportunity Youth/Boys & Men of Color Action Tables. Hilary leads the logistical support for Ford Foundation’s upcoming Board of Trustees trip to New Orleans and is supporting Takema in developing the framework for Annie E Casey Foundation’s National Community Strategies Unit.

Hilary received a B.S. in Psychology and Masters in Social Work from Tulane University, and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh. She’s a yogi, passport stamp collector, and soca warrior.
